We are proposing two books. One is the straight forward book of the film called Whaledreamers, charting the journey of the film with incredible still images that were taken throughout the filming process. Many of these are never before seen images of ceremonies performed by the different tribes from around the globe. The second book of the series concerns all the research that Kim Kindersley did before and during the meetings with the Mirning tribe. In many ways the behind the scenes story to the film is more potent than the film itself.
